Friends...Let's deepen our discussion now. Could you analyze what are the factors which can make a community becomes a living Church? and what are the factors which can obstruct in building a community becomes a living Church? You can share your opinion according to your experience in your community.

Hello I am Puteri Emiliani... I come from Makassar.......

I am happy, because I am chosen by this group to share something about the living Church as I experience in my community. I will share how my community, Komunitas Tritunggal Mahakudus, experiences itself as the living Church….
I joined in this community 2 years ago. It started when I was invited to join in a camp which conducted by this community. I was very happy at that time because I experienced that I became a part of a community which all members practiced their best in support each other. The kind of support which I experience is like remember the birthday of our friends, visit our friend who is sick, help our friend to solve his/her problem, share and strengthen each other etc. In this community I experience that the spirit of brotherhood is practiced very well. The most beautiful thing for me which I experienced in this community is when we pray friends pray for our friend in our cells-prayer. One time they did that to me and I was so touch by their prayer. I felt that I was really supported at that time. I said to myself that this is the living community. We do not only say that we are the Catholics because we pray as taught in the Catholic Church but also we practice to live as a Catholic. Another thing which makes me feel happy in this community is that this community defend the spirit of the Catholic Church. Moreover, we try to serve the people of God in the Catholic Church through our service in Eucharistic celebration on Sunday Mass or visiting the sick in the hospital.
I am proud to this community. I am confiendently want to say that this community is the one of the communities in the Catholic Church which always lives according to the doctrine of the Church. This community always keep the spirit of the unity and lives in the spirit of one heart and one soul. It is our proud in this community that we keep this spirit because by practicing this sprit in our community we show that we are the living church who practices the spirit of the Catholic Church.
I love this community. I love the way of life in this community. I want that this community will be known by many people so they will experience to live as the part of the living Church in their daily life.

Notes:
We post this sharing based on the interview of our groups with one of the member of KTM Communities. Thank you, Puteri for sharing with us.

The sharing above convinces us that the living church it is not about a building but it is about to live the spirit of Christianity in our community. Thanks Puteri for sharing with us.
Friends.....
How about your community? Does your community live as the living Church? or maybe you find out that there are some difficulties in experiencing the living church in your community? You can share your opinion here. Thank you for your participation.

WELCOME

Hi friends….
Did you ever heard about the Living Church? It is not about a building. It is about community of faith. If you did not ever heard about it, I present this blog for you so that you will understand what the living Church is. But if you already heard about that and even have some information about the Living Church, we really hope that you are pleased to share with us in this blog.
This blog is made as the part of our reflection together in our Religion Subject in STIKPAR RANTEPAO. As the candidates of religion teachers and pastoral worker we realize that we need to use technology as a mean of catechesis in the modern world. We want to practice our understanding about the Catholic Church in this blog so that we can participate in facilitating building our community as the living Church. Therefore we use LIVING CHURCH as the name of our blog. We hope from this blog we can share something as part of applying our skill and our knowledge about building the Living Church.

All friends…. You are welcome to visit this blog and to give your opinion here…..
